Let's face it: your child's first birthday is probably one of the most important birthdays that you'll be helping them to celebrate. Whether they eventually remember their first birthday down the road is a whole different story, but your child's first birthday is an occasion and something that should be cherished for the rest of their lives. Since it is such a big and special occasion then naturally you will want to make sure it's a day that you and your son or daughter never forget! Of course you'll want to get your child other toys and such things for their first birthday along with this savings account, but this is a great gift to invest in for your child's future!

Of course, you may have to be limited in the educational toys that you get for your child's first birthday since they really won't be able to do a whole lot of interacting at this age. Buying him or her a sophisticated play mat with blocks and learning toys are products on the market aimed right at your child for his or her birthday.
